Took this from calista's blog cos it is the same content ... frightening night at kallang k box...

at kbox, we had a little bit of excitement before we left. i was sitting near the door so i leaned back and saw this guy outside. at first i thought he was just passing by. so i didn't care. awhile later, he walk and look through every door. all the rooms are empty in our area except ours. he came and look into our room and he peered even to the furthest end form the door. i was already tense up and ready to react if he comes in. thank goodness he did not. but he continued to loiter outside our room.i noticed earlier that the door had a lock so i just lock it up. soon after, he came and peer in again, this time, he tried to open the door. thank goodness i had already locked up. but thanks to that man (he was holding a glass of alcohol) we lost our mood. my friends were kind of scared and we decided to leave. that was 2+am. although he wasn't outside the room, we couldn't just walk out because he might be somewhere so i called the counter using the phone in the room and said in chinese " we want to settle the bill.... but there is a strange man outside...." the staff told me they were aware of the guy and the lady got us to the counter. on the way to the counter, just after we turn out from the corridor to our room, the guy was there. after the payment, the lady escorted us to the lift.

our next problem was how to go home. kallang is very quiet. and it's a long way out to the MRT station and the taxi stand was empty. we were calling for a cab when one came in. lucky us, lucky uncle. before we alighted at downtown east, the uncle asked us a funny question "is there anything to play here still?" we all laughed, almost 3am in the morning and uncle ask us if there is anything to play. we weren't there to play. but to go back to sleep. we are weird too... to be out so late and go back to a chalet.
